José Baselga Innovative Disruption Program (J-BID)

VHIO was founded by Dr. Baselga in 2006 with the aim of promoting translational clinical research. It has since become an internationally renowned centre for oncological investigation, particularly in the field of precision medicine.

The goal of the J-BID programme is for the VHIO to develop pioneering research projects in the pre-clinical and translational fields, embodying the spirit of disruptive innovation which characterised the work of Dr. Baselga over the course of his career. Because of this, one of the aims of the programme is to attract the best talent to lead these research projects.
