We Seek:
Vall d´Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO) is a cancer research center associated with Vall d’Hebron University Hospital that combines translational and clinical research to address the most unmet needs in cancer research and patient care.
The VHIO opens a Junior Group Leader position and invites applications from outstanding young investigators interested in launching an independent research laboratory in translational cancer research oriented to understanding mechanisms of disease and generating insights for clinical translation.
Applicants should have a PhD or MD/PhD degree, grounded postdoctoral research experience and strong leadership skills, as well as demonstrate a strong track-record of publications during their postdoc and capacity to attract competitive funding.
