Head of the VHIO Academy since late April 2022, her department´s mission is to strengthen the international and translational dimension of the institute through the creation of new integrated training programmes for the VHIO community. In particular by launching new, targeted internal and external training opportunities and creating new educational programmes (Bachelor, Master and PhD Programmes) and academic alliances.
Prior to joining the VHIO, she worked +15 years at the Center for Genomic Regulation (CRG) as Academic & COFUND Programmes Coordinator where she focused on the creation of the CRG PhD & Postdoctoral Programmes which provided high visibility to CRG training activities and contributed to increase the internationalization of the institute. She coordinated internal training activities and collaborated in the development of productive links with internal and external partners, which include diverse universities and research institutes across Europe. Moreover, she was the coordinator of the CRG EU COFUND Postdoctoral Programmes. Her ability to develop strong partnerships was facilitated by her participation on relevant boards for partner institutes such as the EMBL, National and International networks and other PhD programmes.
In terms of academic training, she is graduated in Library and Information Sciences (UOC) and English Literature (UB) and holds a Postgraduate Degree in Technical Translation and Electronic Tools (URV).
