Academic Qualifications
After medical training (M.D.) in China and France, I performed my Ph.D. research work at the Institute Pasteur of Lille. During this period, I became interested in the transcription regulation in cancer. In the fall of 2013, I joined the Center for Genomic Regulation (CRG) in Barcelona as a postdoctoral fellow, where I extended my research interests in understanding how epigenetic factors coordinate with transcription factors in cell fate changes. I joined the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO) in April 2019, and I am currently a Ramón y Cajal investigator. My research interest is to study the epigenetic features that can be used for Noncolorectal Gastrointestinal cancer diagnosis and treatment.
