VHIO - BBVA Foundation: Incoming Clinical Rotation Programme

VHIO Academy launches the VHIO – BBVA Foundation: Incoming Clinical Rotation Programme with the aim of fostering the training and career development of Medical Doctors from all around the world by offering them the possibility to undertake a Clinical Rotation at VHIO for a maximum of 3 months within September and December 2023.

The Programme will expose International Medical Residents to the highest standards of clinical research. In addition, they will expand international networking opportunities and increase their adaptability to a different work and cultural environment.

A maximum of 6 Clinical Rotation Internships will be awarded in this call.

Candidates should fulfil the following eligibility criteria at the time of the call deadline. If one or more of the eligibility criteria are not fulfilled, the proposal will be declared ineligible and will be withdrawn from any further consideration:

  • Individuals requesting a VHIO clinical rotation must hold a Medical Degree and the Spanish FSE (MIR – Medical Internship or residency) or an equivalent officially accredited degree obtained between September 2020 and the Internship starting date, which should be 1st October 2023, at the latest.
  • Candidates granted with a similar internship opportunity at VHIO in the past are not eligible.
  • Candidates must have a solid knowledge of English.

Positions will be awarded on a competitive basis taking into consideration the Resident CV and the motivation letter.

• Selected candidates will receive a monthly stiped of 2000€/month (gross)
• Mobility allowance:

    • 500€ for Spanish candidates;
    • 1000€ for EU candidates;
    • 2000€ for Overseas candidates.
