INVESTIGO Program awards 10 grants to VHIO to incorporate research support staff and postdoctoral researchers, under 30 years of age

Within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan – Funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, the INVESTIGO Program aims to promote the hiring of people under 30 years of age in the research sector. Specifically, the subsidy wants to facilitate the labor insertion of young people with professional profiles of researchers, research support personnel and other positions in R+D+i.

In Catalonia, the INVESTIGO Program has been articulated through the Agency for the Management of University and Research Grants (AGAUR). VHIO has opened the corresponding selection processes for the 10 granted positions and in the 2023 call ten places have been awarded (seven technical position and three postdoctoral researcher positions):

This program represents a new way to promote the start or continuation of a scientific career among young people and the creation of new jobs in our institution and, thus, continue to nurture the search for talent and excellence.
