mTOR, cell functions regulator

mTOR protein (Serine / treonine – kinase or mammalian target of rapamycin) controls many protein synthesis steps, and its relation to certain cancers is well known. Next February 19th, at 12:00 pm in the Courses Hall of the Research Building (Vall d’Hebron University Hospital), Christopher Proud, from Southampton University, will talk about the latest advancements in mTOR research with the lecture “mTOR (the mammalian target of rapamycin)- a master regulator of cell functions.”
