Further to the tremendous success of his first two fundraising gigs organized back in December 2015, Jarabe Contra el Cáncer – the very same year that he was diagnosed with colorectal cancer – singer, songwriter, guitarist and leader of the renowned Spanish rock group Jarabe de Palo, Pau Donés takes center stage once again this week in support of cancer research led by VHIO.
This year he has returned with some very special surprises, guests and star appearances, hence the slight adjustment to the name of this month’s two back to back concerts, Jarabe y Amigos Contra el Cáncer (Jarabe and Friends against Cancer), 12 and 13 December, 2018. More specifically, Pau will be joined by renowned Spanish artists Luz Casal, Manolo García, Antonio Orozco, Carlos Tarque (MClan), La Mari de Chambao, Dani Martín, Rosana, Rulo and Kekko Silvestre (MODÀ).
Programed to start at 21:00h these two special fundraising gigs are promoted by the Spanish periodical El Periódico and radio company A3 Media, and are celebrated at the Luz de Gas venue.
