The latest accolade to recognize the work and outstanding commitment of both VHIO’s Director, Josep Tabernero, and Francesc Bosch -Principal Investigator of our Experimental Hematology Group- in advancing transformative healthcare practice and research came last week having been listed among the top 100 physicians in Spain, spanning 25 different specialties.
Specifically, the Spanish edition of Forbes magazine has just published its pick of the 100 most influential leaders in healthcare across Spain for 2019, with Josep and Francesc recognized under the categories of oncology and hematology, respectively.
This important recognition salutes their determined efforts aimed at advancing cancer research, precision medicine and care. On behalf of all of us at VHIO, we congratulate them both for their tireless work aimed at significantly improving outcomes for numerous patients nationally and across borders, as well as thank the matched excellence of VHIO’s translational teams and talents.
