Next Sunday February 4th, coinciding with World Cancer Day, VHIO launches the Cancer 360 podcast, a series of 8 chapters that will allow us to learn about the many faces of cancer through the vision of VHIO professionals. accompanied by journalist Adam Martín.
In the first episode of Cancer 360 Josep Tabernero; Alena Gros; Francisco Barriga; Alex Piris Raquel Pérez; José Antonio Seoane and Silvia Martin-Lluesma will offer an overview of cancer research. Where are we going? What’s to come? Which will serve as a common thread for future episodes.
We will delve into the key areas of cancer research that are defining the future of the fight against cancer, from addressing tumor resistance to conventional treatments, to the immunotherapy revolution including the development of new cellular therapies.
In addition, we will discover how precision medicine is transforming the way we treat cancer, the importance of international collaboration in research projects and how Big data and artificial intelligence are revolutionizing the way data is managed and used.
Finally, our experts will talk about the importance of cancer research in prevention and the quality of life of those who face this disease.
