Cancer Core Europe´s 2017 Summer School in Translational Cancer Research returns to Portugal to promote bench-bedside translational and multidisciplinary interaction

Initially launched back in 2011 by the EurocanPlatform, the annual Summer School in Translational Cancer Research is organized under the umbrella of the Cancer Core Europe Consortium. Returning to Albufeira, Portugal, 16 – 20 October, and hosted by the German Cancer Consortium (DKTK), this superb educational opportunity promises all participants the very latest insights and hot debate spanning the following key topics:

Innovative Aspects in Cancer Biology
Research Areas Driving the Preventive and Clinical Research
Bridging Preclinical and Preventive/Clinical Research
Clinical and Late Translational Cancer Research
Cancer Science Policy and Health Economics
Drug development
Cancer Immunology and Immunotherapy

Especially crafted to draw the attendance of preclinical scientists and clinical researchers for a ´bench-bedside-back´ exchange and translational cross-talk, the program incorporates an exceptional panel of expert speakers from Europe and the US and has been organized into core sessions incorporating scientific lectures, case discussions, selected presentations by participants, poster sessions and meet the professors.
