Calling Young Scientists: deadline extended to 04 August to apply for EurocanPlatform´s Translational Cancer Research Course, 20 – 24 October 2014, Portugal

Aimed at exploring all aspects of the translational research continuum, from early detection through treatment to survivorship, this special 5-day Eurocanplatform Translational Cancer Research Course, 20 – 24 October 2014, Algarve, Portugal, will provide unparalleled educational opportunity to interact and exchange with an expert international cast of speakers. The meeting, organized through EurocanPlatform´s WP13 Education & Training, will culminate in a final day workshop focusing on precision medicine in oncology.

Program:

Day 1: Overview/ Innovative Aspects in Cancer Biology

Day 2: Research areas driving preventive & clinical research

Day 3: Bridging preclinical & preventive/ clinical research

Day 4: Clinical & late translational cancer research

Day 5: Clinical Personalised Medicine Workshop

Participation is limited to 100 individuals, the majority of whom will be young scientists (PhD, MD/PhD, post-doctoral fellows) are specifically encouraged to apply.
