VHIO’s Benchstorming Seminars recently turned two! It is thanks to the dedication of co-Chairs and Founders Véronica Rodilla and Jordi Martínez Quintanilla, coupled with the enthusiasm of VHIO faculty that these superb in-house educational opportunities continue to triumph.
Marking a new era for our Benchstormings, Véronica and Jordi chaired their final seminar on 05 April with speaker Cristina Cruz, Medical Oncologist and Staff Scientist of VHIO’s Experimental Therapeutics and High Risk & Cancer Prevention Groups, respectively.
The new spring season kicked off on 26 April, and they handed over to new Benchstorming co-Chairs, Elena Senís, Post-Doctoral Fellow of VHIO’s Cellular Plasticity & Cancer Group, and Toni Jauset, formerly a graduate student of VHIO’s Mouse Models of Cancer Therapies Group and now researcher at VHIO-born spin-off Peptomyc S.L.
True to the informal format of these seminars, specially crafted to stimulate free thought, flow, and interaction between the speakers and participants, our new co-Chairs first treated us to a refresher mini-masterclass with tips and tricks for preparing Benchstorming presentations.
Next up:
Date: Thursday 10th May
Speaker: Toni Jauset
