Last month celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the Worldwide Innovative Networking (WIN) Consortium’s annual Symposia, 25 – 26 June, Paris. On the ground at this year’s meeting themed Winning the War against Cancer, premier oncology channel ecancer caught up with several speakers and trailblazers in oncology including VHIO’s Director and President of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), Josep Tabernero.
After delivering his talk on Beyond standard of care: the next steps of Precision Oncology – an ESMO perspective during the first Presidential Session entitled The Challenges of Building Real Cooperation to Implement Precision Oncology Programs: a Long and Winding Road, Josep spoke to ecancer about the Society’s many programs, tools and task forces that have been especially devised to help Secure access to optimal cancer care – the theme of the forthcoming ESMO 2018 Congress, 19 – 23 October, Munich, Germany.
