Further to the tremendous successes of his previous three Jarabe Contra el Cáncer fundraising gigs, the first of which was organized back in December 2015 -the very same year that he was diagnosed with colorectal cancer- singer, songwriter, guitarist and leader of the renowned Spanish rock group Jarabe de Palo, Pau Donés will take center stage once again on Monday 23 December, 2019.
This year he will return for one night only with 18 other famed musical talents who have all made music with his group over the last 23 years.
Putting on two back-to-back shows, Pau will be joined by Jarabe y sus Músicos contra el Cáncer (Jarabe and its Musicians against Cancer): Alex Tenas, Jordi Mena, Marià Roch, Toni Saigi “Chupi”, Quino Bejar, Jorge Rebenaque, Dani “Patillas” Baraldés, Luisito Dulzaides, Carmen Niño, Kyke Serrano, Ricky Frouchtman, Jordi Franco, Andrea Amador, Marta Roma, Jaime Burgos, Jimmy Jenkins Jimenez, David Muñoz “Gnapos”, and Jordi Vericat. These concerts against cancer will kick off at 19:00h and 21:30h respectively, and will be celebrated at Luz de Gas here in Barcelona.
