The Clinical Fellows Programme led by VHIO Academy provides training opportunities in basic, translational and clinical research for Oncology interns from the Vall d’Hebron Hospital Campus. This programme covers a wide range of topics that enhance healthcare professionals’ research skills and promote their participation in biomedical research activities, and includes synchronous and asynchronous, as well as in-person, remote and hybrid training opportunities.  

All training materials are available on VHIO Academy’s Moodle platform, a user-friendly interface that enables participants to balance learning activities and clinical work, and that can be used to offer educational materials to medical interns who are part of the Clinical Fellows Programme. 

The two main pillars of the programme are a strong guidance and mentorship relationship between fellows and their supervisors, as well as a diversified multidisciplinary training portfolio.
