The “Cell-based therapies in oncology”, the first International Symposium of the BBVA Foundation, will take place on November 29th and 30th.

The symposium will be organized by Dr. Alena Gros (Head of the Immunotherapy Group in Tumor Immunology at VHIO) and Dr. Sonia Guedan (Leader of the Cellular Immunotherapies for Cancer Research Group IDIBAPS).

The following topics will be discussed during the symposium:

• Determinants of ACT activity
• Adoptive cell therapies for solid cancers
• Next-generation CAR T- cells
• Adoptive cell therapies for pediatric indications
• Advances in CAR T- cells for hematological malignancies
• Advancing T-cell therapies for solid cancers

The event will take place at the Ateneu Barcelonès (Gothic Quarter, Barcelona).

The last day to register is October 17.
