Rafael Morales, has a degree in Medicine, is a medical oncologist at the Oncology Department of the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital and the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO), in Barcelona, since 2008. He specialized in Internal Medicine between 2000- 2004 and later specialty course in Medical Oncology between 2004 and 2007, at the Hospitals Dr. Manuel Gea González and the National Institute of Cancerology, both of the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
The research interest of Dr. Rafael Morales focuses on the diagnosis, treatment and evolution of Genitourinary Tumors. He participates as a clinical researcher and in the development of phase I, II, III clinical studies in innovative treatments such as immunotherapy, targeted therapy, conjugated antibodies against cancer.
He is an active member of the American Society Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the European Society Medical Oncology (ESMO), the Spanish Genitourinary Oncology Group (SOGUG), the Spanish Society of Medical Oncology (SEOM), the Germinal Group and the Cancer Group of Unknown Origin (GECOD).
