We seek

A Quality Assurance Technician with experience in clinical trials, preferably a Bachelor´s degree, knowledge of GCP (Good Clinical Practice), experience in quality inspection, auditing and testing as well as implementing corrective action programs. The successful candidate will also have excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office and databases), knowledge of QA tools, concepts, methodologies and relevant regulatory requirements.

Main Roles and Responsibilities

Draft quality assurance policies and procedures

Interpretation and implementation of quality assurance standards

Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards

Devise sampling procedures and indications for recording and reporting quality data

Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems

Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality

Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities

Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues

Collect and compile statistical quality data

Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system

Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions

Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities

Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards

Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers

Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions

Monitor risk management activities

Manage document management systems

Guarantee ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements

 A highly motivated, team-oriented individual with previous experience in a biomedical research laboratory and highly skilled in cell/tissue processing and molecular biology. The ideal candidate should be familiar with ELISA, ELISpot, flow-cytometry and also be prepared to work with human blood and tissues. Previous experience working with T cells will be favorably considered.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals with evidence of high academic achievements. Lab experience in such areas as mouse work, molecular biology, confocal microscopy, molecular biology, developmental biology would be advantageous. Eligibility: Applicants shall at the time of recruitment be in the first four years (full-time equivalent research experience) of their research careers and have not been awarded a doctoral degree. In addition, applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of their host organisation for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the recruitment date.

 Skills requested:

• The candidate has to possess a PhD in biosciences.  .
• The candidate has to have a scientific background in the hematology and/or immunology field.

• Experience in research using animal models will be desirable.

• The candidate must be proficient in the preparation of manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed international scientific journals.

• Técnico de Formación Profesional Grado Superior en Laboratorio. Se considerarán licenciados. 
• Estar en posesión de la acreditación B para llevar a cabo procedimientos con animales de experimentación.
• Indispensable experiencia previa en el manejo de animales de experimentación (> 1 año).
• Se valorará positivamente:   

              – Experiencia previa en procedimientos habituales: punción subcutánea, implantación                      subcutánea, punción intraperitoneal, extracción sanguínea, administración de                                fármacos por vía oral e intravenosa, anestesia, sacrificio de animales,                                              extracción de órganos, seguimiento y medición de las cohortes de                                                  estudio,registro de datos de monitorización, etc.

              – Experiencia previa en inmunohistoquímica, inmunofluorescencia y western blot. 

              – Participación previa en proyectos de investigación.

              – Conocimientos de informática (nivel usuario). 

• Estudios superiores – licenciado/a en ciencias relacionadas con la salud. 
• Imprescindible dominio de herramientas informáticas como Excel y experiencia con bases de datos.
• Se valorará experiencia profesional en investigación clínica o preclínica.
• Se valorará conocimiento de estadísticas y en programación ( análisis de datos como programa R). 
• Dominio del castellano y catalán tanto hablado como escrito y buen nivel de inglés    

We are looking for postdoctoral candidates highly motivated and talented, with a strong background in cancer cell biology. Candidates must have at least one first author publication in a top-10 journal during 2014 or 2015.

An enthusiastic and highly motivated candidate with proven ability to work as part of a team. Experience in molecular biology and animal experimentation will be favourably considered.
